Barry Davis, the President of Barry Davis Homes, Inc. has become a recognized builder in the Lexington/Lake Murray area since the start of his company in 1989. Barry’s first career since college where he obtained a B.S. in Marketing from Charleston Southern University was in industry in the Columbia area in the purchasing field.

Barry’s earliest exposure to the building industry was in the completion of two personal homes before a career change that resulted in the formation of his company and completion of well over fifty upscale homes around the Lake Murray area.

The emphasis of the company has been toward custom homes in upscale developments, as well as new home construction on the shores of Lake Murray. Barry treasures the relationships that can be developed with customers through the building process, and recognizes these friendships as his most valued marketing tool. Consistent with this is a part of the company philosophy that "our customers know they can trust us to build their house as if it were our own."

Barry has been a member of the Home Builders Association for many years, and served as a Board Member for three years. He has previously participated in the Tour of Homes with awards.

He and his wife Earline and their two sons reside in the Lexington area, and are members of Lexington United Methodist Church.
